shady rest motel was a pleasant surprise! our deluxe family suite had fresh paint and new flooring that felt really inviting. everything was super clean and had a nice, fresh scent. the owner was friendly and made us feel very welcome. plus, it’s conveniently close to california, which is a nice bonus.

Cozy and clean stay with friendly service
I had a lovely one-night stay in the Deluxe Queen Suite. The room was impressively clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. The owner was very welcoming, making the experience even better. However, the breakfast options were quite limited and could use some improvement.

Not that it was a problem because we left very early to get back out on the road, but breakfast was a bit of a miss. Just a grab-and-go bag didn't quite cut it for my culinary heart.

Room was very clean and modern, surprisingly nice for the price. The husband at the desk was super nice, even when I showed up after midnight. They gave us a to-go bag breakfast, which was really thoughtful.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but guess what? it was still acceptable.
